Netflix announced the renewal of the second season of Selena. This play focuses on the brilliant but short life of legendary Latin female singer Selena. Christie Seratus (The Walking Dead series) continues to play legendary singer Selena Gentiania. The second season will continue the content of the first season, telling how Selena became the most successful Latin female singer in history, and how to balance family, love and booming career after becoming famous. The story line will continue until 1995, when Selena, 23, was murdered by the former chairman of her fan club. The second season will be launched on Netflix on May 14.
